Ayrton Senna was a Brazilian Formula 1 driver and is considered the most talented of all time. He became a three-time world champion.

He was born in Sao Paulo in 1960 and from an early age showed his inclination. At the age of ten he got his first racing kart. His father supported him in his dream because he too was a fan of motor sports.

At the age of 13, little Ayrton started competing in official competitions. At the age of 17 he took part in the South American championship. From 1978 to 1980 he competed in the World Kart Championship.

In 1981 he moved to England to drive a Formula Ford 1600 and won the championship. The following year he participated in the European Formula Ford 2000 and was crowned champion. He repeated the triumph in 1983 when he was driving in Formula 3. It was then that Formula 1 teams began to show their interest.

So in 1984 he drove Toleman, the weakest team in Formula 1. He showed his ability as a driver in the race of Monaco when on a wet road he finished the race 2nd starting 13th. Many drivers left the race due to dangerous conditions.

From 1985 to 1987 he drove for Lotus. From 1988 to 1993 he drove for McLaren. He was crowned champion in 1988, 1990 and 1991. In 1989 the champion was his co-driver. In 1992 the team was not competitive because Honda, which supplied it with engines, withdrew. Nevertheless, Senna finished 2nd in the championship.

In 1994 she moved to Williams which looked very promising. But his fate played a bad game in Imola, Italy, the third race of the calendar. He hit with 233 km / h on a wall next to the track. He suffered fatal skull fractures, brain injuries and arterial dysfunction. The cause is speculated to be a broken steering wheel shaft. For this, the team’s technicians were accused of negligence.

A three-day mourning period was then declared in Brazil.
