The tire companies Goodyear and Bridgestone are developing a ‘smart’ system that will work with algorithms to predict the state of their products, when of course they are in our cars.

The data received from sensors on the condition of our tires will be transferred to the companies platform.

These data are specifically the measurements of tire pressure, temperature, wear, road surface, driver handling and in general all the factors that affect the ‘life’ of the tire. This data is then analyzed by the company platform to predict how long the tire can be used.

This has a financial benefit for the car owner as he/she will take the necessary actions for the use of the tire but also an environmental benefit since the tire will be used to the maximum possible.

It will also contribute to less tire cracking, less traffic congestion and greater safety.
