The Chinese company Alibaba is a platform where consumers order products online and the largest of its kind in China and one of the largest in the world.

In recent years, however, its percentages in the orders it receives have been decreasing. This is because consumers are now adopting new shopping habits.

Newer companies have created new ways to attract potential buyers. These ways, in addition to low prices, present the products in videos and not only in photos. There are also live broadcasts to explain the product.

This has reduced Alibaba’s sales share from 78% in 2015 to 51% in 2021.
