Guadeloupe is an island in the eastern Caribbean and it is part of France territory.

• Basse – Terre: It is a national park with volcanic peaks. There is tropical dense vegetation and banana plantations making the mountains look green. On the shores of the area there are coconut and scattered houses of special architecture.
• Gran – Terre: It is the most touristic area of the island. The combination of the golden shores with the rich sugarcane crops is also beautiful.
