This version of Israel’s well-known tank will be integrated into the country’s army in 2023.

It is improved over the Merkava 4 in terms of agility, efficiency, size, cost and number of operators.

It has Rafael’s Trophy system which is an active protection and HUD system, like the one in aircrafts. The crew helmets are similar to those on F-35 aircraft. It has electronic warfare systems.

It also has cameras for a 360-degree view and 3D for day and night. It also has sensors to be able to locate targets autonomously. It also has artificial intelligence systems.

Its cannon is 120mm with projectile throw up to 4 kilometers. It also has a 7.62mm machine gun. Its mortar is 60mm.

It is powered by a 1,500hp V12 diesel engine. Its maximum speed is 64 km/h and its range up to 500 km.
