Canada says that the economies, the tight security cooperation and the military cooperation between the 2 countries is over.
This is because of the US tariffs that target imported vehicles and their parts. This puts an end to the Canada-USA Automotive Products Agreement signed in 1965.
It seems that there is an increase of 25% on the Canadian goods. Canada considers that these tariffs are unjustified and illegal.
Canada will respond with retaliatory tariffs.
