2020 has been marked negatively by the pandemic. But the only big economy to see growth this difficult year was China.
The same results and even better were presented in the country in the first quarter of 2021 after showing growth of 18.3%. In the same period last year though, its economy shrank by 6.8%.
The country has been recording its economy since 1992. This period has seen the largest growth since then. And yet, as paradoxical as it sounds, this rapid growth was lower than expected, as it was 19%.
Product production increased by 14.1% and retail sales by 34.2%.
