We see that in recent years electric cars are penetrating our lives for many reasons.

It is a given that they have many advantages sο the trend is moving in this direction. They have low cost of use, they are more environmentally friendly, they are quiet and have high torque.

So what makes many people hesitate to make this purchase?

The biggest question is how long the battery will last. No one can answer this because it depends on many factors.

Gradually reducing the performance of each rechargeable battery is inevitable but as users we can follow some rules to protect it.

The fast charging method does not definitely cause damage to the battery but the increased thermal load will definitely change its chemical composition.

Low temperatures reduce its energy reserve and slow down its charging rate. However, at high temperatures there can be damage to its cells. Generally batteries of this type work best in temperatures between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. Even the change in temperatures will definitely shorten their life.

Also the more times they recharge the more damage occurs to their cells.

It is good to start charging when it is at 20% of its capacity up to 80% and not up to 100%.

And we avoid accelerating sharply when driving. This reduces its durability after overheating.

Finally, we prefer to park in a shady place when it is hot and indoors when it is cold.
