It was October 26, 1881, when the Earp brothers and their friend Doc Holliday started a wild gunfight into the Wild West with the Clanton-McLaury gang in Tombstone, Arizona.

In that area in 1877, silver deposits were discovered so economic growth began.

Earp and Holliday were law-abiding, and Clanton and McLaury were cowboys who also engaged in illegal activities and robberies.

The day before, some of the gang went to Tombstone to buy supplies for their ranch. From that moment, the tensions with the brave police officers started.

The next day other members of the gang went to the city and were informed that the others had already been killed by the police. Then they rushed for revenge.

The gunfight started which lasted only 30 seconds and more than 30 pistols fell. Three members of the gang were killed and two others escaped. On the police side, three were slightly injured.

The most famous movies about the event are Tombstone and Wyatt Earp.
