In 2002, Kara Robinson was watering a friend’s flowers. Someone approached her and by the time her friend returned, Kara had disappeared.

It was serial killer Richard Evonitz who used a pistol to drive her to his car.

At the time, Kara was trying to remember what she was experiencing so that she could survive, escape, and betray the criminal.

He took her to his apartment and started raping her. Kara stayed calm so that she could escape at the right time. She knew very well that this could be the end of her life.

Gradually she began to think that she could leave. She also thought of grabbing the pistol from his pocket but soon changed her mind.

The next morning when he was asleep, she managed to get out of the apartment in slow motion. She stopped a car and went to the police station. She gave the police as much information as she could remember. They were able to identify him with other kidnappings and murders. In a few minutes the police was in his apartment but he managed to escape. But they were soon able to locate him. Then he committed suicide.

A few days ago he mentioned to his sister the crimes he had committed.

Kara eventually became a police officer specializing in sexual assault and child abuse.
