Katarina Witt is a former German figure skater. She won two gold medals at the Olympic Games for East Germany in 1984 and 1988. She was also a four-time world champion (1984, 1985, 1987 and 1988) and a two-time silver medalist (1982 and 1986). She also won six consecutive European Championships (from 1983 to 1988). Finally, from 1983 to 1988 he won ten gold medals in eleven major international competitions.
She was born in 1965 in East Germany.
