It is an area at the easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic with a population of 100,000 people.
It is a top Caribbean destination with the famous Bavaro and El Cortecito beaches. A place also known for its endless coastlines and crystal clear sea.

• Manati Park: A place with exotic fish, horses, parrots, dolphins and other animals. There are lush gardens and tropical plants.
• Saona Island: There the tourist can enjoy moments on tourist boats and on the white sand of the beaches.
• Altos de Chavon: It is a village that looks like a Mediterranean city of the 16th century. It is located on a remote hillside, yet there are theaters, museums, craft workshops, galleries, restaurants, etc.
• Santo Domingo: It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There is the first cathedral of the American Continent and the palace of Diego, the son of Christopher Columbus.
