Quseir Amra was used as a resting place by the caliph and his princes.
It is located in eastern Jordan and was built in the early 8th century. It is an example of Islamic art and architecture. There are frescoes depicting scenes of hunting, fruits and naked women. It is still a complex of baths inspired by Roman character.
There is a well and hydraulic system.
Since 1985 it has been considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
