Notre Dame is a cathedral in the center of Paris.
Its construction began in 1160 AD. and ended in the middle of the 13th century.
It is known for its famous sculptures, the two 68 meter tall bell towers, the stained glass windows and the frescoes depicting the life of the Virgin, the Second Coming and the life of Saint Anne.
It has a capacity of 9,000 people.
In recent years there have been maintenance problems since the state does not provide sufficient funding for this purpose. That’s why there are fundraisers to cover the costs as well as donations from private individuals.
