When we have trouble falling asleep, we should avoid looking at the time.
Indiana University contacted a survey on 5,000 people with sleep difficulties.
Parameters of the research were the intensity of insomnia, the use of hypnotic drugs, the time until the person fell asleep and psychiatric diagnoses.
Researchers have found that looking at the time when we have trouble falling asleep has a negative effect on our sleep. This creates additional stress which compounds the problem.
