It was a group of women living in the village of Nagyrev of Hungary, who poisoned to death people between 1914 and 1929. Their victims are estimated to be 40 to 100. Their method was supplying arsenic.

They persuaded women who were unhappy with their husbands to poison them.

Some others poisoned their parents, their lovers even their children.

A body with high levels of arsenic was tested by a medical student and that lead to investigations.

34 women and 1 man were the suspects.

8 were sentenced to death but only 2 were executed. 12 of them got prison sentences.
