The assassination attempts lasted for half a century and the plots varied from poisoning, explosives, dosing his diving suit with botulism, one of his lovers would kill him, snipers, poisoned cigars and milkshakes and many others.
All started in 1959 when he seized power and took over the US property and embraced the Soviet Union.
The American mafia operated hotels, casinos and brothels in Cuba and Fidel had stopped them.
