We know that photovoltaic is one of the most widely used energy sources. It is used to generate electricity from the sun.
Now the aim is to transform conventional roads into a sustainable network where it is a source of clean and renewable energy for charging the traveling electric cars.
The project is led by the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) and it is financed by the German Federal Ministry for Climate Action, the Austrian Research Promotion Agency, the German Federal Ministry of Transport and the Swiss Federal Road Office.
