China may be the first to build a supersonic passenger aircraft.
Beijing-based Space Transportation is working on an aircraft that in its tests reached a speed of Mach 4 at an altitude of more than 20 kilometers.
This means that the trip from London to New York will be completed in 2 hours.
The plan is to be ready by 2030.
