The project is announced in 2023 at the Seoul International Aerospace and Defense Exhibition.
It will be a collaboration between Hyundai Rotem, the South Korean Agency for Defense Development and the Defense Agency for Technology and Quality.
It will enter service in 2040.
It will have an unmanned turret of 130mm and AI-powered targeting. It will be able to hit targets up to 5 miles away.
It will have a hybrid engine that will operate with hydrogen and diesel. But eventually the scope is to use fuel cells.
It will have a stealth armor since it will be constructed using radar-absorbing materials.
It will be able to launch and recover multi-purpose drones.
The crew is 3 persons.
