But it is not the only problem the company has faced in recent months in the country. There have been many complaints affecting the safety of occupants of Tesla cars, prompting Chinese authorities to consider the quality of its production.
To put it bluntly, Tesla set up its first showroom in the country, in Beijing in 2013. Six years later, it became the first foreign automaker to set up its own factory in China without a partnership with a Chinese company. It then received funding from Chinese banks.
2020 was a great year for the company in China with the Model 3 being the first in sales of electric cars. But with the start of 2021 there have been many complaints regarding their safety.
The value of the company has increased rapidly but these incidents may reduce its sales. It seems that the rapid production of cars may have caused problems in their quality.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident mentioned at the beginning of this article. The company claims that the car probably hit something at the bottom, where its battery is located and that is why it caused the fire.
Of course, similar issues are faced by electric cars from other manufacturers.
