As we all know, tsunamis are responsible for major disasters.
In simple words, it is created by a seismic vibration that takes place in the sea. But it is not created after any accidental seismic vibration and at any point.
For the tsunami to occur, the epicenter of the earthquake must be in the ocean and the vibration must be huge and prolonged.
This seismic vibration will occur when two tectonic plates move towards each other resulting in enormous pressure between them. To the point where neither breaks, the pressure will increase and accumulate on the plates.
At the point where one will break or move down, then the pressure is relieved and the huge energy is released. This creates an earthquake resulting in huge waves.
