The Russian S-70 aircraft is an ‘invisible’ drone that will accompany the Su-57 fighters and will be able to be controlled from the ground. Its purpose is to enhance the detection (radar) capability of these aircraft.
Four prototypes will be built to be tested. Their design was started by Sukhoi in 2011.
It will be managed by artificial intelligence and will be able to hit targets autonomously. Still this will contribute to improved maneuvers and analysis of the battle at a better level than the human.
It will be able to carry weapons of volume of six cubic meters for 4,000 kilometers. The missiles it will carry will be R73, R74 and R77 types.
