They are famous for the 272 steps of the colorful stairs leading to the caves.

They are located in Gombak in Selangor, a short distance from the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. 

The scenery of trees around the area is home for thousands of monkeys that the visitor can see and feed.

The area is accessible via public transportation, bus or train.

There, there is a beautiful Hindu temple which was built in 1920. 

The surrounding limestones are 40 million years old which were organically formed.

There is a golden statue of the Hindu God, Lord Murugan which is 140 ft tall.

The main caves are, the Ramanya Cave, the Cave Villa and the Dark Cave.
